Instagram Warning Information
Instagram has implemented specific limits on all activities to prevent spam and misuse. Actions such as following, liking, commenting, messaging, and even browsing between pages are subject to hourly or daily limits (24 hours from the last action). When these limits are exceeded, you may encounter various warnings.
"Try Again Later" or "Action Blocked" Warning
The most common Instagram actions — following, liking, commenting, and sending DMs — are strictly limited on a daily basis. When you hit this limit, you’ll receive a warning titled "Try Again Later" or "Action Blocked," which includes a message saying, "To protect our community, we limit how often you can do certain things on Instagram."
This is not a spam penalty but a limit warning. It doesn’t harm your account, affect your visibility on the Explore page, or lead to account suspension. It simply restricts the specific action for 24 hours. Once the 24-hour period is over, you can continue from where you left off.

"Please Wait a Few Minutes Before Trying Again" Warning
This warning appears when you refresh a page too frequently or switch between pages too quickly. It indicates that you’ve reached an hourly limit. In most cases, the issue resolves itself within an hour.
If you get this warning, it’s best to let your account rest for about an hour. Repeatedly trying to perform actions during this time will only extend the waiting period. If you’re patient, the warning should disappear after an hour, allowing you to resume your activities smoothly.
Like the previous warning, this is also not a spam warning. It won’t harm your account, affect your reach, or lead to a suspension.

"Your Account Was Compromised" Warning
Instagram requires accounts to be managed by a single user. If you log in from a different device or browser while performing actions, you may encounter a "Your Account Has Been Compromised" warning. This prompts you to reset your password.
After changing your password, you must avoid using your account for 24 hours. If you perform any actions during this time, Instagram may impose a 7-day penalty, preventing all activity on your account.
This is classified as a spam warning. While it doesn’t cause permanent damage or lead to account closure, your account will be completely restricted for 7 days.
Important Considerations
If you are performing continually actions on Instagram, you should pay attention to the following points:
-
Avoid logging into your account from a phone and another device simultaneously.
-
If you’re performing actions on one device, don’t log in from another device.
-
If you receive a "Password Change Required" warning, it’s essential to change your password and avoid logging into your account from any device for 24 hours. Even if you log in, refrain from following, liking, or commenting. Otherwise, you risk getting an immediate 7-day penalty after your first action.
Following Instagram’s guidelines ensures your account remains in good standing, allowing you to continue your activities without interruptions. By respecting the limits and adhering to the tips above, you can enjoy a hassle-free experience.
