About Follow Requests

Dear User,

Instagram has recently implemented an important update to its infrastructure, which directly impacts the follow requests you send.

Previously, if profiles were public, they were followed directly, and if profiles were private, a follow request was sent. However, Instagram will now categorize your follow requests as pending even if the profile is public, if it detects that you are performing follow actions too frequently. If the person you sent the request to does not approve it, your request will remain as a pending follow request.

Therefore, we recommend watching stories and liking posts before initiating a follow request. Continuously sending follow requests can result in your requests remaining pending and significantly reduce the likelihood of approval.

Additionally, we advise you to retract your pending follow requests once a week using the Follower Tools > Pending Follow Requests Actions (Local Resource).

We will keep you informed of any further changes to Instagram's infrastructure.
